TechBash 2024 Developer Conference

At TechBash we inspire our attendees to build great things that will change the world. The sessions at TechBash 2024 will deliver bleeding edge advances in the coding, designing and development of mobile, web, desktop and cloud native applications. Our speakers are world-class experts you may have seen featured at other conferences like DevIntersections, NDC, VS Live!, and Google I/O.

Our venue, the Kalahari Resort, is amazing. It's a resort, conference center, and 220,000 sq. ft. indoor water park, now the largest in the Northeast U.S. We're located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, less than a 2-hour drive from New York City, Philadelphia, and Northern New Jersey. The food at the event and in the restaurants at the resort is phenomenal. Our attendees rave about our meals and evening events (Game Night and the Welcome Reception) every year. And don't forget to bring the whole family - Family Day sessions are back on Friday, Sept. 27th!

Maddy Montaquila - Sr. Product Manager, .NET MAUI at Microsoft

It's not your dad's .NET anymore

.NET is feeling 22! Since 2002, .NET has grown into the most performant and flexible platform for building any type of app for any device. Target mobile/desktop with .NET MAUI, the web with ASP.NET and Blazor, and even orchestrate your cloud native development and deployment with .NET Aspire. .NET 8 was the biggest and best .NET yet - until .NET 9 comes out in November!

Join Maddy (and maybe Beth Massi) for a whirlwind tour of some of the cool things you can do with .NET, how it all integrates together, .NET 9 updates, and maybe even some history lessons on how all this came about!

Brandon Minnick - Developer Advocate at Amazon Web Services

Confusion is the Sweat of Learning

When learning new skills, at some point, we're likely to find ourselves confused. That perplexion, the murky and unclear state of being out of sorts, can be daunting. The fear of never being able to understand can be hard to overcome, let alone eventually understanding the concept itself.

However, it's more important than you think to be confused.

Join Brandon for this session where we'll discuss how confusion is an important part of the learning process. We'll cover how to identify it, what steps to take when we're confused, and how the act of finding the answer can be more important than the answer itself.
